Could have been one of their strongest contenders
Several problems:
Battles have only three rounds. If you have 100 units left and the enemy has 1 unit left, it is a draw. There is no real in game difference between a draw and a loss.
2. Tactical targeting, unlike what the game suggests, makes no difference in outcomes. Just leave it set to auto.
3. You cannot designate certain workshops to make certain products. This ends up in having workshops creating products for a particular store being far, far away from each other.
4. Grinding for gold is the only way to beat this game, and that gets old very fast.
5. There is not any of the little extras we are used to seeing (exploration parties like dungeon village/epic astro story/Beastie Bay), investing in side projects (mega mall story/hot springs story). No combo system here, no bells and whistles.
6. No real replay value. Once youve beat it, thats it. There arent alternate starting maps, etc.
